Job Summary
Strategy
- Driving client modelling and analytics
- Partner the business in identifying business opportunities by leveraging analytics.
- Drive the client-led planning process
Business
- The role covers CIB, Corporates and as such involves all markets supported by the bank on the coverage side of the business.
- Responsibility for owning end to end Client Segment and Sub-segment performance reporting requirements, with a core objective to ensure that the MI is presented in senior management forums
- Drive the requirements for performance reviews and executive meetings such as Corporates Monthly Performance and the Management Meeting
- Drive the requirements of monthly and quarterly country performance reviews with the segment/cluster heads by preparing relevant financials, analytics, and presentations
- Ensure close integration of reporting and performance outcomes of Cluster businesses with the group for consistency of messaging and business performance narrative
- Front end the coordination and support during forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting cycles with product and segment finance heads and Cluster / Country finance functions
- Analyse business performance (management and financial), review highlight risks and opportunities, and drive actions to ensure committed financial outcome.
- Provide delivery ownership and control over all CCIB outcomes across processes including accounting and control
- Ensure impact on business performance outcomes is managed due to change in upstream or downstream processes and systems

- Drive process excellence agenda, ARIS Maps, Process Documents
- Drive Rationalisation and Standardisation of MI to ensure integration of core performance requirements across group, clusters, and countries
- Drive digitization, automation, and adoption of digital dashboards
Risk Management
- Creating effective backups
- Ensuring the Ops risk framework is adhered to
Regulatory & Business Conduct
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters.
