WHY IS THIS ROLE IMPORTANT
You will be joining the Controllership team within Finance organization in Krakow (Poland), which provides a wide range of complex accounting services. The team gives senior stakeholders financial tools and information they need to make an effective analyzes and transparent reporting. From Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger processes, controlling, analysis to reporting to multiple State Street Bank locations across the world help our business partners create more effective strategic solutions and act on revenue growth opportunities and expense discipline.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare monthly aging reports for all entities in portfolio
- Collection activities of past due accounts / for past due invoices
- Make recommendations to senior management for reserves of &>181+ past due accounts
- Identify cash receipts for proper matching to outstanding invoices
- Prepare tax with-holding documentation and reporting
- Maintain tax jurisdictions and tax rates
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Tax reconciliation preparation and analysis
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 6 years of professional experience in Finance Reporting/ General Ledger / Financial Accounting / Tax and/or other related fields
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GL, financial accounting reporting, controlling)
- Practical knowledge of MS Excel, Access and Outlook is necessary
- Advanced Language skills: written and verbal in English
- Excellent communications, organization, interpersonal and analytical skills
- An ability to adhere to multiple deadlines, with good time management and the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Engagement and ownership
- An innovative and structured approach to work, coupled with an ability to continuously identify and implement process improvements
- A willingness to take ownership of problems and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
