We are collaborating with a modern yet historical Estate Agency located in the South West/Kensington area. They are in search of a hardworking, creative, and enthusiastic Senior Service Charge Accountant to join them on a interim basis up until February 2025.
In this role, you will oversee your own portfolio of 100 buildings that contain 800-900 units.
You will have the option to work partially or almost fully remotely on the provision that you own your own laptop/WFH set up in order to successfully achieve your day to duties. Alternatively, they will have an available desk in the office.

Day to day:
- Prepare and finalise annual service charge accounts, adhering to legal and professional guidelines.
- Conduct monthly reconciliation of Client Accounts.
- Supervise the service charge budgeting process to ensure precision and adherence to lease agreements.
- Work with external auditors, assistance for service charge account audits and any provide any other information as required.
- Generate financial analyses and reports to facilitate property management and maintenance decision-making.
- Ensure prompt collection of service charges and proficient management of outstanding balances.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a service charge accounting or similar role.
- Proven track record of managing service charge accounts and budgets.
- Strong understanding of property management and leasehold legislation.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
