Job Description
Our Employment Tax team has a clear focus on providing a high-touch, value-add advisory, and compliance service to a diverse client portfolio. We deliver on a range of projects, from complex tax advice, payroll and superannuation reviews, and tax managed services for some of Australia’s largest employers. Our national Employment Tax team within the KPMG Workforce Advisory business has experienced significant growth and is recruiting talent at the consultant level to join our high performing team in Perth.
Your Opportunity
This role is an opportunity to join a team that grew rapidly in the last financial year and will continue to expand at all levels in FY25 as we embark on new engagements and work on deals and transactions continues to grow.
- No two days are the same as the role is multi-disciplinary with a focus on Employment Taxes advisory, deals advisory, payroll compliance reviews, superannuation reviews & remediation projects, managing FBT engagements, wage compliance analysis and payroll tax internal reviews and state revenue audits.
- The group’s leadership both locally and nationally put a strong focus on helping team members become well-rounded advisors who bring strong commercial insights and practical advice to their clients. The leadership also have a track record of investing in individuals and supporting them in progressing through role grades at KPMG.

- A demonstrated ability to think independently and challenge the status quo, bringing independent thought and new ideas.
- Skills that are particularly well suited to the role are: working with large data sets using Microsoft Excel and other data-focused solutions, awareness of industrial instruments and the role they can play in determining employees’ entitlement to superannuation, wages and various types of leave (including long service leave).
- Previous employment tax, employment law, or payroll experience would be highly desirable.
