Tax Manager

The Tax Manager will lead the tax department in a property organisation, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. This role is crucial to the company's financial health and integrity.

Description

Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Develop tax strategies to optimise tax liabilities.
Manage and mentor the tax department staff members.
Collaborate with finance department on budget planning and forecasting.
Manage quarterly CT61 submissions.
Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.
Review and oversee preparation of PSA & CIS returns
Present tax strategies to senior management.
Ensure accurate reporting of tax-related financial data.

Profile

A successful Tax Manager should have:

Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CTA).
Experience in VAT, SDLT, CIS and CT are essential.
Deep understanding of tax laws and regulations.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to improve continuously
