As a Junior Product Controller in our Warsaw team, you will provide crucial support to the Front Office and collaborate with other members of the organization to strengthen controls and support the data integrity of the bank’s records. You will have the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the entire function and a full oversight of the workings of one of the World’s leading investment banks. This role offers the chance to promote impactful change, generate efficiencies, and work with markets trading desks under the Macro, Equities or Spreads businesses.

Job responsibilities:

  • Conducts daily P&L reporting and month-end close processes
  • Reviews and verify the profit and loss attribution
  • Ensures accurate trade activity capture and valuation of various financial products
  • Partners with the business to drive forth and implement robust controls and new business initiatives
  • Provides detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
  • Drives coordination across various front & back office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely manner
  • Serves as an analytical and project support resource for product control
  • Prepares and oversee the quality of the daily and monthly Balance Sheet reporting
  • Handles various ad-hoc requests on a daily basis

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and detail oriented
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Eager to challenge current processes

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • Product control, financial control and regulatory reporting background
  • Previous experience with automation tools such as Alteryx, Xceptor or Tableau
