Accountant

Assist the Accounting Team in maintaining and developing the Group's accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the Group's internal and external reporting requirements.

Description

• Prepare and/or review ledger entries, post entries and prepare reconciliations
• Assist in maintaining the general ledger system
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable
• Assist in variance analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast
• Research accounting issues for compliance with Luxembourg generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
• Assist in the monthly close process
• Assist in the accounting for GP entities serviced by the Cosec team
• Assist with external audits and support internal audit processes as needed

Profile

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or tax
• Fluent in English (French is a plus)
• 2 - 5 years of accounting experience
• Tax and VAT experience is a plus
• Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Office
• Experience with Bob50 is a plus
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in an accurate and timely manner
• Autonomous and able to take initiative
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach
• Solid time management and prioritisation skills
