Who we are looking for:

We are looking for the Core Operation, Associate 2, who primarily response for custody/accounting transaction processing, risk monitoring and query management for APAC clients.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Perform daily tasks as assigned mainly on custody cash/trade/FX processing and daily risk monitoring reporting
  • Ensure that allocated tasks is completed and submitted for review on a timely basis
  • Independently follow process documentation such as process flows, Standard Operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Answer and handle issues and queries and escalate as needed; acting with a sense of urgency to meet required deliverables
  • Liaising with internal clients to obtain information where required
  • During the course of normal day to day operation, beresponsible for identifying any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and follow the 'risk' escalation chain and operating procedures to escalate in a timely manner
  • Adhere to corporate policies, guidelines,and risk and compliance programs.
  • Provides on the job training to new staff and assists new staff with attainment of understanding job responsibilities.
  • Maintains appropriate documents required for fund audits.
  • Other administrative requirement as assigned such as timely log PV, complete training within deadline etc.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with business related coursework or degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of related custody and/ or fund accounting experience.
  • Strong computer competence (Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Accuracy and detail-orientated
  • Interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Multitasking capability
  • Ability to work under pressure/deadlines driven environment
