The opportunity
Within EY's Assurance service line, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) professionals provide advisory services encompassing accounting and regulatory support on accounting change and special matters; accounting processes and controls support; GAAP conversion and implementation; on call financial reporting advice; and transaction accounting and financial reporting assistance.
Your key responsibilities
As our colleague, you will gain experience from working on a wide variety of assignments.
- You will be responsible for participating and assisting in valuation and financial analyses.
- Participating in the formulation of valuation approaches.
- Assisting in the development of valuation and other business models.
- Assisting in the preparation of internal and client valuation reports for a variety of purposes such as financial reporting, transactions, tax, and litigation.

- Excellent analytical, project management, communication, interpersonal, and teaming skills
- Outstanding organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to work under tight deadlines
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Ongoing College / University studies in the field of Finance, Accounting, Applied Economics or Financial Mathematics
- Experience or studies in business valuation
- Deep understanding of finance and accounting
- Strong analytical skills
- Financial modeling skills is an advantage, including experience building models from scratch in MS Excel
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English and Hungarian
- Our interns usually work from Monday to Friday, with working hours that vary between 25 and 40 hours per week
Ideally, you also have
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment
