Description
- Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting & finance department.
- Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Participate in budget and financial forecasting and report variances.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to support overall department goals and objectives.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Assist with preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
Profile
A successful 'Management Accountant' should have:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CIMA or ACCA.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
