Make an impact with our growing External Financial Advisory (EFA) team as a Financial Analyst. This diverse team of professionals are dedicated to exceeding clients’ unique needs within a rapidly evolving business and financial reporting landscape. As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide a range of services to small and mid-sized companies, ranging from bookkeeping to fractional CFO services.

Responsibilities
- Support clients with financial advisory services involving the analysis, interpretation, and presentation of financial data, key performance indicators and metrics
- Conduct business analysis and identify improvements of current state: accounting processes and procedures, reporting, data quality, system tools, asset training and internal controls
- Development of financial models for a variety of applications, such as cash flow forecasting, budgeting, raising capital and valuations
- Develop effective working relationships with clients by working with various accounting and administrative personnel to support the delivery of advisory services
- Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services and clientele through experiential learning with clients
- Network and support the local professional community while raising awareness of MNP and looking for new business development opportunities
Skills and Experience
- Currently pursuing, or intending to pursue a CPA designation
- Completion of a degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration
- Experience with financial statement modeling is considered an asset
- Experience working with accounting and tax software (such as QuickBooks and Xero) is considered an asset
- Travel may be required
