Out client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant who is a registered Chartered Accountant with ICAZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with local financial regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions.

- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, manage, and analyse budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Audit Coordination: Liaise with external auditors, ensuring timely and successful completion of audits while maintaining compliance and other regulatory standards.
- Tax Compliance: Oversee tax planning and compliance, including the preparation of tax returns and ensuring timely payment of all taxes.
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Stakeholder Management: Provide financial insights and advice to senior management and other stakeholders to drive business performance.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- System Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and tools that improve financial processes and reporting.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Chartered Accountant: Must be a registered Chartered Accountant with ICAZ.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Finance or an MBA is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, preferably in a corporate or audit environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software, financial analysis, and reporting tools. Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of managing and developing teams.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
