Major Duties:
- Provides operational support to Analyst Manager.
- Works with product group to evaluate client requests and provides input on product development.
- Mentors and participates in training of new analysts.
- Prepares investment return analysis reports.
- Perform manager performance return reconciliation and document discrepancies.
- Communicates with clients, the client’s money managers and/or consultant on a regular basis.
- Interfaces with consultants, partners and clients to determine servicing requirements and problem solving strategies.
- Sets up accounts, monitors and assures quality of data for clients and partners.
- Input special processes relating to performance specific accounting.
- Assists consultants in the preparation of client reports and presentations.
- Develops or completes special projects in designated areas of expertise.
- Maintains records of client deliverables and deadlines.
- Keeps up to date with market conditions and developments in order to recognize and understand the market environment.
- Prepares data and/or reports to various third parties.
Knowledge:
- Technical expert on all major systems and understand performance and attribution methodology.
- Analytical skills and an understanding of finance and investment vehicles generally acquired through an undergraduate degree program are required in order to resolve inquiries of rate of return calculations and determine accuracy of reported data.
- Computer skills are required to analyze data and generate client reports.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of related trust or investment industry experience.
