Tax Associate (Contractual)

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for assisting Supervisors and Managers in providing tax advisory and compliance services to clients. As a Tax Associate or Tax Trainee, you will contribute to various tax projects related to corporate tax and VAT filing documentation, and tax planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tax services, assisting with tax compliance processes, including preparation and filing of various tax returns (corporate tax, VAT, etc.)
• Assist Supervisors and Managers in preparing Transfer Pricing documentation and managing corporate tax projects.
• Prepare advisory memos related to UAE corporate tax and international tax issues. Support tax planning and compliance efforts for UAE and Gulf region clients.
• Coordinate with clients for tax data collection and ensure accurate, timely documentation.
• Conduct tax research to stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations.
• Perform administrative tasks related to tax filings, document preparation, and report generation.  

Job Specifications & Skills:

• CA / ACCA (or similar qualifications) finalist or qualified. Internship experience in taxation preferred, but freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
• Effective English speaking and wring skills are a must.
• Proactive and keen to gain expertise in tax advisory and compliance.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage freelance projects and meet deadlines independently.
• Tech-savvy, with the ability to use digital tools and tax software effectively.
