Job Description & Summary
A career in our Audit Methodology practice, within our National Professional Services Group, will provide you with the opportunity to help our Firm by supporting the delivery of quality Assurance services to the market. You’ll collaborate with engagement teams and other Firm resources to promote high quality financial reporting and to inform and influence key stakeholders on important issues pertaining to accounting.Our team supports our audit engagement teams and external clients with implementing major changes that improve audit quality and efficiency and add value to our client’s audit. As a part of the team, you’ll focus on assisting our audit practice develop innovative practices that foster efficiency, accuracy, reliability, and improved audit quality.

- Roll out of NGA initiative, in full collaboration with the Transformation team; this includes roll out of the smaller entity library in FY25 which is a project of focus by global and regional leadership: libraries, EGAs, training staff, training ACE, etc....
- Roll out of other projects with transformation; Continuous oversight of these projects being run in transformation for conformity with audit methodology
- Roll out of new/updated ME specific methodology guidance/policies
- expanding work in QMSE, more specifically the work around IT resources
- managing the load around consultations instead of having them concentrated in one/two consultants
- projects around revised ISAs, more specifically this year ISA 600R roll out: libraries, templates, webexes and trainings; contribute to the roll out and respond to questions and concerns from the practice
- AQP training for the whole region is now centralised with the regional team, so we need more experienced team members
- increase the frequency of webexes: mandatory webexes, back to basics webexes for juniors, country specific webexes
- increasing work around Aura and the tools linked to it, especially that we currently have 3 Aura instances in the ME
