Internship in Finance Team

Responsibilities:

• Support of Team Members in preparation of tax returns for third-party countries
• Participate in activities in completeness, accuracy and compliance with Abbvie procedures
• Provide assistance for tax audits and answer to inquiries from various taxing jurisdictions based on ERP of the entity
• Support Indirect Tax Accounting Leads in review all tax related balance sheet accounts reconciliations
• Gather tax relevant data on ad hoc basis, based on request from stakeholders
• Support in KPI calculations for selected indicators
• Assist with other day to day VAT compliance tasks as the need arises
• Conduct archiving controls over tax documentation for EMEA team
• Support improvement opportunities in the area of VAT working under with Team members guidance

Qualifications:

• During Bachelor’s Degree with an accounting and/or tax orientation
• Professional proficiency of English is a requirement
• Fluency in Polish is essential
• Practical computer skills, particular experience with Excel and SAP
• Analytical, problem solving approach
• Written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with stakeholders
