Responsibilities:
Some of the responsibilities but are not limited to:
- Lead the Finance and Accounts division, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes, identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a timely manner.
- Develop and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives and business growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, applying relevant knowledge to improve financial performance.
- Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
- Conduct financial risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of investments and financial assets, recommending adjustments as needed.
- Manage relationships with banking institutions and other financial partners, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
- Lead the development and implementation of cost-saving initiatives and process improvements across the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to department heads and project managers on financial matters, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Prepare and present financial presentations to the board of directors and other key stakeholders, providing updates on financial performance and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements, collaborating with external tax advisors as needed.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical behavior within the Finance and Accounts division, promoting a positive work environment based on trust and integrity.
Requirements:
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CMA, or CA.
- Proven experience of 5 to 8 years in a senior finance role.
- Strong understanding of financial controls such as reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
