Job Details
Description
- Develop and apply knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act, bilateral income tax treaties and Canadian tax jurisprudence
- Research various tax-related issues
- Assist in preparing corporate tax returns and other Canadian tax filings
- Work collaboratively with the client engagement team
- Communicate with the client and client engagement team
- Set-up and help manage client files
Credentials
- Completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Business Administration (Accounting or Finance major preferred)
- Previous tax or accounting related office experience is an asset
- Customer service and/or client service experience is desirable
- Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
