Your Opportunity
- Work in a dynamic, fun and supportive team of skilled professionals in a highly confidential internal service role
- Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for discretionary trusts, companies and individuals
- Prepare and provide taxation advice with respect to tax matters commonly identified in a business services client base such as: personal income tax, capital gains tax, superannuation and private company tax issues in particular Division 7A and GST
- Project management of the annual compliance process for a large number of client groups
- Coordinate the onboarding of new clients including answering questions regarding settlement and incorporation of new trusts and companies, ABN, TFN, GST and other Australian tax compliance obligations
- Training, review, mentoring and providing feedback to more junior team members
- Knowledge share within the team to create efficiencies
- Access to training through monthly tax technical updates, bi-annual accounting updates applicable to your client base - for example Tax updates; and broader professional development through our partners like LinkedIn Learning
- Systems utilised in the role will include: Microsoft Suite of products (intermediate to advance excel); APS Tax; Business fitness for the preparation for financial statements. Knowledge or experience working in these systems is not mandatory.

- Have the relevant tertiary qualifications
- Have intermediate experience with the preparation and review of financial statements prepared in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and Australian income tax returns for companies, trusts and individuals
- Have excellent attention to detail and high level of organisational skills
- Are able to work effectively and efficiently under pressure to specific deadlines
- Have a friendly, professional attitude, pro-active, self-starter with a collaborative team player approach
- Have a high standard of integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and professionalism (discretion in dealing with confidential information is essential)
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
CA/CPA or equivalent qualified
