Position Overview: As a Trainee Auditor you will have the unique opportunity to learn and develop under the guidance of experienced professionals in the field. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in auditing methodologies, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. You will play an essential role in examining financial records, ensuring accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and contributing to the overall success of audit engagements.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning and conducting audit engagements in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Review financial statements, records, and documentation to assess accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with audit teams and clients to gather relevant data, perform analysis, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
- Document findings and recommendations, contributing to accurate and well-organized audit reports.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
- Perform tax computations and submit tax returns.
Key Skills and Characteristics:
- Pursuing a Professional Qualification (ACCA)
- Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Computer literature (Word/Excel)
- Excellent knowledge of English Language (written and spoken)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must have the right to live and work in Cyprus.
