The Management Accountant will assist in the preparation and analysis of financial data, playing a crucial role in the company's strategic decision-making process. Based in a sales business, the successful candidate will be a part of a vibrant Accountancy team, producing a full set of accounts with commentary for their own entity.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:

  • Preparation and analysis of financial data.
  • Full production of the Management Accounts pack within strict business deadlines
  • Balance sheet management and reconciliation
  • Contributing to the company's strategic decision-making process.
  • Maintaining the integrity of the accounting system and ensuring financial compliance.
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasting.
  • Collaborating with the Accounting & Finance team on various projects.
  • Conducting regular financial audits and risk assessments.
  • Providing financial advice and guidance to management and other departments.
  • Ensuring adherence to financial policies and regulations.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - ideally
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting financial data.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience having produced a full set of accounts
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
