Description
The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:
- Preparation and analysis of financial data.
- Full production of the Management Accounts pack within strict business deadlines
- Balance sheet management and reconciliation
- Contributing to the company's strategic decision-making process.
- Maintaining the integrity of the accounting system and ensuring financial compliance.
- Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasting.
- Collaborating with the Accounting & Finance team on various projects.
- Conducting regular financial audits and risk assessments.
- Providing financial advice and guidance to management and other departments.
- Ensuring adherence to financial policies and regulations.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - ideally
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial data.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Experience having produced a full set of accounts
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
