In this role, you will partner closely with senior stakeholders, supporting decision-making processes while delivering high-quality financial insights and analysis. You will also assist in the development of junior team members and contribute to key financial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commercial Support:
• Partner with key stakeholders to facilitate sound financial and operational decision-making.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide summaries to support business decisions.
• Assist in managing financial risks and opportunities across contracts and balance sheets.
• Contribute to commercial initiatives aimed at driving business performance improvements.
• Performance Management:
• Assist in preparing key business reports, including month-end reviews, budgets, and client reports.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis.
• Contribute to balance sheet reviews and help manage working capital targets.
• Help prepare documentation for client tenders, negotiations, and capital expenditure appraisals.
• Team Support & Leadership:
• Support and develop junior team members, contributing to their career progression.
• Collaborate with financial and operational teams to ensure effective communication and partnership.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or QBE with relevant experience.
• Experience in business partnering and providing financial support to senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a commercial mindset.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage complex spreadsheets and prioritize tasks effectively.

Desirable:

• Experience in a multi-site, multi-contract environment.
• Knowledge of SAP & Cognos.
• Experience supporting team development and working closely with operational teams.
