The Private Tax Director will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of high net worth clients and driving the strategic growth of the tax department. Expertise in Trusts planning & advisory is preferred.

Our client is a well-established accountancy firm with a significant presence across South West, offering comprehensive compliance & advisory services. With a split tax function, our client is looking to grow their specialist Private Tax team to partner with local solicitors, HNWI's & agricultural clients.
Description
- Lead the private client tax department and manage a portfolio of high net worth clients.
- Deliver high-level tax advisory services.
- Develop and implement strategies for departmental growth.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated services to clients.
- Foster a positive and high-performing work environment within the department.
- Stay updated with the latest industry developments and changes in tax legislation.
Profile
A successful Private Tax Director should have:
- A professional qualification in Tax or Accountancy - ATT, ACA, ACCA, CTA (QBE will be considered).
- Proven experience in a tax leadership role within a professional services firm.
- Excellent knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
- Outstanding client relationship management skills.
- The ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
Job Offer
