About the role

Work in a dynamic team environment for Intercompany Transactions for overall Europe region.

Key responsibilities

  • Apply fundamental accounting theories and concepts to support the business operations and day to day accounting needs.
  • Lead and oversee intercompany period-end activities to be performed with deadlines and according to Kerry Standards.
  • Review and supervise work of ICO Accountants on all scope covering ICO processing, settlement, recharges and billing within and out of the region(s).
  • Ensure completeness of monthly ICO recharges transactions which include cross charge to/from intercompany partners, reconciling intercompany balance within and/or across the regions.
  • Ensure execution and posting of foreign currency revaluation before period closing.
  • Support and ensure period-end ICO balances, receipts and payments reconciled on time in full.
  • Problem solving and trouble shooting with team members on any issue arises that needed support.
  • Constant challenge status quo and further simplify, improve and standardize processes across all regions.
  • Responsible for preparing and participating in internal and external financial audits covering ICO scope of responsibilities.
  • Prepare and present periodic ICO movements, transaction agings, process issue escalations to regional Finance Director during monthly PRM calls. 
  • Constantly ensuring team members complete development goals adhering to regional dateline set.
  • Adherence to agreed SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications and skills

  • Degree in accounting and/or recognized professional accounting qualification.
  • Minimum 12 years’ experience in financial accounting.
  • Must be meticulous, superior analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to supervise a group of Senior ICO Accountants and ICO Accountants.
  • Must demonstrate initiative, organization and independent judgment in solving problems.
  • Proven senior accounting experience.
  • Ability to drive business improving processes and performance.
  • A demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and extreme time pressure in a high growth environment and fast pace environment.
