Consultant – Valuation Services
Brisbane
Companies require reliable valuations for all manner of reasons including to underpin transactions, resolve shareholder disputes, investment valuations and various tax, accounting, and financial reporting reasons. Our Valuation Services group offers technically sound, commercially focused independent valuations for client needs.
Your Opportunity – Consultant / Analyst
We are expanding our Valuation Services team in the Brisbane market, with opportunities for early career Valuations professionals to join our local team. In this role you will:
- Be involved in and support valuation engagements with clients.
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative information on companies, industries, and transactions to identify key performance metrics and value drivers.
- Consult with our clients regarding business performance, cash flow forecasts and prospects and understanding key valuation drivers.
- Think critically, identify issues, and propose strategies related to the advice being provided.
- Review, build and interpret financial models for businesses or projects.
- Use traditional and leading-edge valuation methodologies to determine the value of assets, equity, or debt instruments.
- Extract relevant information to prepare clear and concise valuation reports, detailing the commercial rationale that supports the valuation judgments you have established.

- Recent and relevant experience working across valuations (of all types) or corporate finance in a corporate advisory environment.
- Suitable technical capabilities and accreditations having completed (or in progress to complete) relevant post-graduate studies (i.e., CA or CFA)
- You will be a commercial, resilient, and enthusiastic team player with a positive work ethic and an open, curious mind which can help us enhance the way we work and bring creative solutions to our client’s problems.
- Strong analytical (quantitative and qualitative) and report writing skills.
- Experience in excel-based financial assessment and advantageous if you have financial modelling capabilities.
- Ability to build robust relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
- Project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines on multiple client engagements.
