Accountant

We are a growing accounting practice and we are looking for a part qualified & qualified accountant to join our team in Karachi. 

You will be given an opportunity to progress within the practice as we grow. 

Job Description:

• Bookkeeping for clients
• Preparing management accounts and VAT returns 
• Advise clients on ways to minimise tax liability in compliance with UK tax laws.
• Preparing and finalising year end accounts for businesses
• Perform monthly closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and reports for various business 
• Preparing Self-Assessment
• Review and streamline/improve existing processes

Application Process

As part of our selection process, we are looking for candidates who:

• Are Qualified or Part Qualified (passed at least 9 exams)
• Have at least 2-3 years of experience working for UK Accounting Practice in similar role (please don't apply if you don't have experience working for UK practice as it will be rejected).
• Proficiency in accounting software like Xero, QuickBooks,  Sage, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Have knowledge of UK corporation tax, income tax and VAT
• Have knowledge of the statutory and technical aspects concerning a set of UK limited company accounts
• Have ability to work to deadlines and to be flexible as regards the hours and assignments worked
• Have ability to communicate openly and build up excellent relationships with clients
• Have excellent communication skill in English (verbal & written)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
 

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday (1PM-09:30PM)
