Accounting/Audit assistants are assigned to a vibrant and dynamic team serving a diverse client portfolio in various industries. The successful candidate will be expected to be deliver on the following:
Data Entry and Record Keeping:
- Accurately input financial data into accounting software and databases. Maintain and update client and vendor records. Ensure all documentation is complete and properly filed.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors. Reconcile and manage accounts receivable, including issuing and tracking client invoices. Monitor overdue accounts and assist with collections as necessary.
Bank Reconciliation:
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies. Reconcile credit card statements and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Compile and analyze financial data for management review. Support the preparation of financial statements and schedules
