Who we are looking for
State Street seeks an Officer in Berwyn, PA to join our GIPS Composite team within SSIA Middle Office Services. Responsibility will include supporting client relationships for review of all performance and analysis types and activities that include, but are not limited to, rate of return calculations, return attribution, risk analytics, competitive analysis, and composite construction and maintenance. This analysis is instrumental to help State Street's Investment Management clients understand the drivers of return in their portfolios and composites along with a measure of the effectiveness of their products and strategies.

What you will be responsible for
- Analyze investment strategy performance results and ensure compliance with GIPS Standards.
- Create and maintain composite presentations and other reports to support recurring and ad hoc requests according to business requirements
- Investigate and communicate with internal stakeholders related to composite calculations and implementation of the GIPS Standards
- Responsible for helping to drive execution for key milestones across the various workstreams in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Become a subject matter expert (SME) that can interpret the complexities of account performance and how it relates to composite aggregation
- Collaborate with business analysts and users to gather requirements for the efficient distribution of deliverables. Be accountable for milestone delivery dates
- Work with business analysts and developer team to refine requirements and generate Acceptance Criteria data transmission.
- Plan out with Quality assurance and business teams UAT (user acceptance testing) and BUAT testing (respectively)
- Collaborate with business teams and developers to build in efficiency. Identify improvements to create scale, reduce risk and add value
- Communicate progress and timelines to senior management as needed

- Knowledge of "how" service providers and investment manager clients work together to support claims of GIPS Compliance and performance calculations
- Experience with Composite Construction and the rules governing adherence to GIPS Standards
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team
- Ability to Navigate SSB architecture and structure related to IT deployment projects
- Previous client facing responsibilities
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting or economics related fields.
- 7+years experience working with Performance
- Prior experience at an Investment Manager or Asset Owner provider highly valued

Salary Range:
$65,000 - $102,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
