Accounts Manager

SS&Co. is providing Audit, Accounting, Tax, Financial & Management Consultancy in UAE, KSA and UK [www.sscoGlobal.com]. We are currently looking for Accounting Manager in Lahore, Pakistan to support our team in UAE, KSA and UK. An Accounting Manager will manage and deliver Managed Accounting engagements from planning through to completion. The role will require proficiency in relevant accounting standards, as well as extensive accounting experience.

The role holder is expected to manage a portfolio of clients, having responsibility for agreeing timetables, briefing the accounting team (including other specialists), monitoring budgets and supervising the accounting process.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Manager is based in Lahore, Pakistan. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Assisting staff members in order to record the accounting transactions in accounting software provided by the clients.
• Preparing and Analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting practices
• Involve in month end reviews and financial closing of various clients
• Present the clients financials statements to the client and management on monthly basis
• Ensure that staff members are working effectively and efficiently and meet the daily targets assigned to them for each client
• Ensure that the accounting entries are correct under IFRS and any other applicable law
• Assisting Tax manager to prepare tax returns for Clients and provide all accounting data required for tax filings
• Performing reconciliations of general ledger accounts
• Providing regular updates to management regarding the status of work done for clients
• Maintain the time record of each staff member and work done for each client
• Ensure that the reports are shared with the clients as per the agreed scope of work
• Assisting the senior leadership team in monitoring the effectiveness of Accounting services delivered, providing feedback and reflection on the quality of service accordingly
• Any other task given by the line manager
