Job Description

Cash Management/ Accounts Reconciliation (ARCS) Specialist - Oracle Fusion

About the role

This is a critical role and will join a project team to assist with implementing the Oracle Fusion ERP system into Next Finance, initially replacing AP, AR and GL. You will be working on how we set up our new cash management process and the automatic reconciliation of various clearing accounts within our Finance System in Oracle. Additionally you will be a key member of our team attending our design workshops and exploring options to use the auto reconciliation module 'Arcs'.

This will involve:

  • Familiarisation workshops
  • Making and documenting design decisions
  • Supporting business impact assessments
  • Preparing / reviewing functional design documents
  • Coordination with reporting and with data migration teams
  • Input into training plan
  • Test planning and execution
  • Cutover planning and execution
  • Warranty support
  • Understanding and highlighting any risks and ensuring controls are in place to mitigate risk.

You will also be working with several business readiness teams:

  • Existing cash accounting and treasury teams to understand existing processes
  • The testing team to build test scripts
  • Training team to ensure we have the appropriate training for all users
  • Data migration to ensure we have accurate data migrating into the new system Reporting team to ensure supporting reconciliations and data analysis is complete"

About you

  • Good understand of cash management and account clearing processes
  • Experience of implementing change in areas with a focus on controls and automation
  • Experience with transformation of an Oracle Fusion system
  • Ability to self manage, methodical with strong organisational skills ensuring multiple tasks can run in parallel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and escalate issues in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excel, Powerpoint and/or Google Presentation skills
