Job Summary

The Financial Analyst role provides an opportunity to interact with multiple line of businesses and internal stakeholders while learning finance processes end-to-end with a wide scope rather than focused single responsibility. This person will be working closely with intra group finance community in line with the legal entity agenda. Aside from intra-group responsibilities, financial analyst will be responsible for preparing regulatory reports, taxes, managing vendors, accounts payable processes, and ledger management.

Responsibilities

  • Legal entity accounting and GL management
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of regulatory reporting in accordance with the latest regulations
  • Support maintaining strong and adequate controls on financial data, ledger, financial reporting systems, investigate, analyse, and resolve the issues and responses to ad-hoc queries
  • Manage account payable process including vendor management
  • Maintaining effective audit trials on the accuracy of accounting entries as the basis of financial reporting
  • Preparation of taxes, declarations, and e-legal books
  • Act as first line of defence, own, manage and monitor the risks within the function, and design & implement mitigating actions
  • Ensure that key regulatory risks and concerns are raised within the governance framework of the Finance Team
  • Work closely with extended international cross functions and within Group Finance

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance & Accounting
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, audit (including Big4 experience), or other relevant fields in banking
  • CPA is a plus
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to work effectively with others as well as being pro-active, initiative and solution-oriented
  • Strong execution and multi-tasking ability with high discipline
  • Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Excellent command of English and Turkish
