Job Description

Who we are looking for:

An experience SME who will oversee Structure Finance - Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and fund transactions to ensure that deals are in compliance with deal documents which include Waterfall Payment.

Actively collaborate with the stakeholders, Deal- Collateral Manager and External Auditors to ensure seamless service and accurate and timely delivery of information.

Interact and escalate issues with the Boston team on a daily basis to address and resolve issues.

A senior associate – team lead within CLO is responsible for ensuring the daily operation of structured finance trusts are reviewed and disseminated within defined guidelines. Job duties include the development of skills in the areas of deal processing and review of work, compliance testing and data analytics and reconciliation.

What you will be responsible for:

As Senior Associate – Team Lead you will:

  • Responsible for processing and reviewing of CLO Deals
  • To oversee day to-days team operations and performance
  • Experience is managing a small cluster of 3-5 employees
  • Developing strong relationships with the Boston team by producing high quality work and leading the daily process development calls.
  • Monitoring daily report completion and dissemination within specified SLA.
  • Comply with internal procedures and specified deadlines
  • As SME, leading new trainee hires

  • Knowledge of Collateral Loan Obligation, Structured Finance, Waterfall Payment, Financial Modelling, Securitization, ABS, MBS, CDO
  • Knowledge of Loans in secondary market
  • Complex reconciliation of cash and trade
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and Problem solving

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA in Finance/ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with a focus in Accounting, Finance, Technical or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 + years of related experience in Structure Finance, Financial Modelling, Waterfall Payment, knowledge in WSO (Wall Street Office) is required.
  • Experience is managing a small cluster of 3-5 employees
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Candidate must be detail oriented and able to work both independently and in group setting.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-oriented group with peak period workflow

  • Ability to manage projects and handle team in the absence of Managers.
