As a Finance Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring that our monthly and other reporting deadlines are met. This will involve completing the detailed month-end postings, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and so forth. This individual would be expected to be involved in the year-end audit process, along with assisting with the other reporting requirements that we have.
We are looking for someone with a hands-on and can-do attitude. This will be key to ensuring that we can make the finance team fit for the future. The team's exposure to projects and ad hoc work is significant and varied.
Key responsibilities:- End-to-end month-end accounts closing and preparation of monthly management reports complete with supporting notes and schedules;
- Management of the year-end audit process, including preparation of financial statements in accordance to FRS, provision of workings, schedules, and supporting documents on request;
- Assist with payment processing and cash flow reporting;
- Reconciliation of GST balances, if required, and completion of the return for quarterly filing;
- Preparation and updating the corporate tax computation monthly and attending to queries and requests from the tax agent;
- Invoicing and reporting.
- Liaising with various stakeholders both internally and externally;
- Any other ad-hoc assignments.
- A minimum of 3 years of accounting and/or invoicing experience in a similar role;
- Working in a global finance environment and having previous experience with Singapore and Hong Kong companies is highly advantageous
- Strong grasp and understanding of financial controls and best practices;
- Experience in an external audit would be preferred
- Capable of working to meet tight deadline deliverables and able to be flexible to prioritize multiple tasks and deliverables at one time;
- Strong excel and word skills;
- Ability to summarize findings and conclusions in a succinct and professional manner, tailored to senior management and a board-level audience;
- The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team is crucial.
Our current work setup is70% (WFH) - 30% (Onsite) Hybrid Work from Homewherein you need to be in the office for 6 days a month and the rest is WFH.
To qualify you must have a stable internet connection (DSL/Fiber with at least 25mbps).
