DBB Process Consultant RtR

At HEINEKEN Kraków (HEINEKEN Global Shared Services) our success comes directly from our great people. We are a growing team of business experts in finance, accounting, data and technology ready to “WOW” the world with our expertise, passion and pride to be GREEN. We act on our values of Passion for consumers & customers, Courage to dream & pioneer, Care for people & planet, Enjoyment of Life, always focused on being ourselves: inclusive, diverse, and open for new challenges.

As part of our HEINEKEN EverGreen strategy to commit to future-proof the organization, adapt to market dynamics, and emerge stronger from the pandemic, there’s the objective to digitally transform the business and its relations with stakeholders. It’s this intention to become the “best-connected brewer” that’s a priority in Heineken’s digital and technology (D&T) organization through this Digital Backbone (DBB) Project.

As a Process Consultant, you will be the subject matter expert (SME) in a specific functional area such as production, logistics, sales, procurement, or finance. Your role involves guarding the DBB template ways of working, including retrofitting template changes, and providing support to DBB key users for functional and process-related queries. You will drive conformance to and improvement of template processes and manage DBB artefacts such as SOPs, training materials, and HEPM flows.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Govern the Global Template: Collaborating with the E2E Stream Lead to manage end-to-end processes, validating designs, and ensuring alignment with standard procedures and HEPM.
  • Process Governance: Proposing and designing process improvements, creating/updating procedural manuals, facilitating change requests, and guiding Operating Companies to follow standard processes.
  • Change Management: Supporting the implementation of process changes using release management procedures, managing stakeholder engagement, and addressing cultural sensitivities.
  • Performance Evaluation: Assessing the impact of new capabilities on the Global template, coordinating with Functions for process improvement, and managing major organizational projects within scope.
  • PPIs Implementation: Proposing, defining, and implementing measurable PPIs in automated dashboards, driving continuous improvement, and regularly reviewing PPIs for process enhancement opportunities.
  • Functional Analysis: Reviewing and advising on Operating Company functional requirements, analyzing the impact of functional changes, supporting UAT test activities, and notifying stakeholders of major incidents.
  • Deployment Support: Identifying and analyzing business impacts, participating in deployment by reviewing documentation, gathering and documenting local requirements, and closing gaps between “as-is” and “to-be” situations, acting as a change agent for Operating Companies.

You are a good candidate if you:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a complex international environment or FMCG industry.
  • Expertise in business process design and modeling techniques, and the capability to work in a cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency in financial accounting, including general ledger postings, accruals, and fixed assets management. Proven experience in managing intercompany transactions, period end close processes, and tax reporting. Strong understanding of treasury and cash management principles.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex subjects clearly and simply, along with consultancy skills to provide critical insights.
  • Understanding of the interaction between business processes, data, and technology.
  • Experience in inbound logistics, including receiving and put away of materials/products, purchase order management, import processes, and landed costs.
  • Knowledge of finance processes, including invoicing, (pre)payment, expense claims, VAT, withholding tax, and landed costs.
  • Excellent written and verbal English, a proficiency in another language (French, Spanish, Portuguese) will be treated as a plus.
