Who we are looking for
The junior Project Manager will join State Street Bank International Luxembourg branch (‘SSBIL’) project team and may support SSBI overall continental Europe branches. The scope of the projects can cover either legal entity projects (e.g. regulatory impacts) or business related projects.
He/she will manage his/her own projects but also act as a support to senior project managers within the frame of larger projects or programs.
The successful candidate should have a good understanding of the Mutual Funds industry and an experience in managing projects.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

The Project Management Office is a supportive function to the core of the division covering SSBI branches.
What you will be responsible for
As Project Manager you will
- Be responsible for the project governance
- Coordinate the activities of the project and track progress, escalating issues and risks to the Steering Group
- Provide leadership, motivating the project team and proactively progressing actions
- Record and report progress factually and objectively

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- University degree in accounting, banking, finance, business administration or equivalent
- Financial services / mutual funds industry knowledge. Experience within a Mutual Fund Administrator or a Depositary bank is an advantage.
- A first job experience in a project management role.
- Computer skills (MS Office : Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Project)
- Fluent in English
