Job Title: Finance Analyst
Location: Head Office, Leicestershire
Salary: £competitive base plus bonus & benefits
Are you passionate about numbers and eager to make a real impact in a fast-paced retail environment? Join Next as a Finance Analyst and become a key part of our Branded Accounts Payable function. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate self-billing for approximately 900 branded suppliers, supporting our Retail, Online, and Total Platform Partner businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and provide accurate reporting, analyse outcomes, and suggest improvements.
- Support ongoing projects and manage business expectations.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve invoice queries.
- Business partner with key stakeholders across the business and external partners.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations as part of the month-end process.
- Collaborate with our extended team in Pune, India to ensure accurate reporting and invoicing.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. As a Finance Analyst, you will have the ability to remain calm under pressure and manage a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to challenge processes and drive improvements.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Versatile and adaptable to change with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Experience in handling challenging conversations with suppliers.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A Financial Degree or equivalent.
- Part-qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
- Previous experience in a financial role, with a strong focus on data accuracy.
