Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced project management business professional to enable the growth of State Street’s Collateral Management business in EMEA. Collateral Management offers collateral solutions and capabilities to flexibly support our State Street clients. The product suite includes end-to-end collateral management, administration and servicing, analytics and optimization, and transformation.
This role involves managing all aspects of project execution, from initial planning and analysis to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will report directly to the EMEA Head of Collateral Management and work collaboratively with regional and global cross-business partners and cross-organizational support functions (e.g., Sales, Onboarding, Operations, Legal, Risk, and Compliance).

What you will be responsible for
As Collateral Management Project Manager you will be responsible for:
Project Planning and Strategy:
- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and clients.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Set clear project goals and track progress using key performance indicators (KPIs).
Execution and Delivery:
- Lead project teams comprising analysts, associates, and other professionals, ensuring effective coordination and communication.
- Ensure projects meet all regulatory requirements and internal standards, coordinating with legal and compliance teams as needed.
Stakeholder Communication and Management:
- Act as the primary liaison between the bank, clients, and external partners, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present project updates, financial analyses, and final reports to clients and senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor project budgets and financial performance, identifying and addressing any deviations.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and documentation for internal and external review.
Risk Management and Quality Assurance:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future project delivery.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing relationships with senior executives and clients.
- Understanding of or experience working in Collateral Services
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in analysis
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Clarity,).
- Capable of effectively prioritizing and escalating communication where appropriate
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required; advanced/graduate degree preferred
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or other relevant certifications are advantageous
- 8+ years of project management experience within financial sector preferred
