As the Payroll Associate, you will be responsible for the timely and correct handling of matters concerning the day-to-day payroll, including correspondence with the assigned clients. In this job your main goal will be to ensure that TMF’s clients in Greece are provided with efficient, professional, and high-quality services which meet all statutory obligations across payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
- Filing of the clients documentation;
- Ensuring all paperwork is filled on time and accurately with the relevant Greek authorities – under supervision;
- Responsible for accurate entry of source information into payroll/HR software;
- Submitting all output and reports for clients to Specialist or Manager for approval;
- Preparation of banking payroll file to be uploaded to the banking system for payment;
- Generating/ printing payslips and annual tax declarations for clients’ employees in case of busy periods or delay caused by system breakdown etc.;
- Any other tasks aligned with the individual competences and area of expertise, assigned by the Manager or Specialist;
- Identifying out-of-scope service and providing respective information to the Manager;
- Keeping up to date with changes in payroll and labour legislation;
- Identifying errors or missing documentation provided by the client;
- Being proactive and using initiative to clarify issues, identify savings and efficiencies for the clients and processes within a Team, proactively sharing the best practices
About you
The successful candidate is analytical and methodical with proven track record in payroll related matters. Possesses knowledge of payroll regulations coupled with strong communication abilities. Integrity, team spirit and strong organizational skills are highly valued attributes.
Ideally, you are meeting following hiring criteria:
- At least 1 year of relevant payroll experience;
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economy or related field;
- Proficiency in MS Office (particularly MS Excel) is compulsory;
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team;
- Analytical and systematical approach to work;
- Great proficiency in adhering to timelines;
- Diligence in performing work;
- Very good command of English (both verbal and written)
