The opportunity

As a Finance Transformation Consultant, you will have a unique chance to support the finance function in a transformation journey to a valuable business partner, empowering the organization to unlock new opportunities and drive sustainable growth. Through partnering with the CFO, the controller, and/or the treasurer, you will provide insights on leading practices and support the transformational change in their finance function, helping them to streamline their organizational structure, processes and leverage new technologies.

The type of projects we help our clients with are:

  • Design and improve the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) processes and assess the maturity level of managing and understanding costs
  • Act as a functional Finance expert to support the business part of the implementation of new technologies within Finance departments and conduct finance diagnostic, maturity assessment, and benchmarking
  • Support the delivery of Finance Transformation engagements, which involves reviewing the status of companies' finance departments, advising on creating/improving an efficient process framework as well as recommending the use of automation solutions, along with our technology consulting.
  • Design the management reporting framework with the appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that will enable a decision-making process
  • Design the reporting framework to address regulatory and internal information requirements in the context of ESG reporting requirements for the CFO
  • Support the implementation of recommendations and solutions providing sophisticated Project Management service, in close alignment with clients' teams.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Excellent academic record, ideally including a postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, and/or other related field.
  • 1-3 years of working experience in Finance functions of large corporates or relevant experience in the consulting sector (finance process optimization, reporting, closing, audit).
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills in English for both technical and business audiences.
  • Good working knowledge of finance technology, including but not limited to ERP, Planning and Budgeting, and Reporting/Visualization systems & tools.
  • Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise, and professional manner (both in Greek and English)

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Finance-related professional qualification completed or in progress (e.g., CFA, ACCA)
  • Demonstration of integrity, values, principles, and work ethic.
  • Experience with ESG-related topics
  • Consulting, Audit, or Project Management experience is an asset
