As a Depositary officer in a dedicated expert team, you will be actively participating in the day-to-day operational depositary work, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Taking care of day-to-day operational depositary work ensuring Alternative Investment Funds compliance with regulations, with a particular focus on main depositary duties:
  • Daily cash flow monitoring;
  • Oversight duties including NAV Oversight and Investor Activity Oversight;
  • Safekeeping of assets ensuring existence and ownership of the assets held by the Alternative Investment Fund.
  • Efficient organization and prioritization of tasks, completing work, including client deliverables, to a high standard and on time.
  • Performing analysis and controls to mitigate the risks linked to depositary services.
  • Communicating confidently as a point of contact for clients for both operational topics and the management of internal & external parties' relationships, such as asset managers, administrators, auditors, etc.
  • Prepare Depositary Reporting and attend Board Meetings.
  • Working collaboratively with the team, including supporting newly joining officers, to deliver excellent client service.
  • Acting in line with compliance and regulatory requirements as well as internal AD Policies and Procedures (PPDs) and Risk guidelines.
  • Consistently embedding the Alter Domus values as a guiding principle in all your daily activities, actions and decision-making process.

Your Profile

  • You hold a bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting, Finance or Economics or Law;
  • You show interest in the Financial Sector and specifically in the Private Equity and Real Estate Industry;
  • You have between 0 and 2 years of relevant experience;
  • You are fluent in English (Knowledge of French and/or German will be considered as an asset);
  • You have very good knowledge of MS Office;
  • You are organized, flexible and able to manage several tasks;
  • You are keen to work in a small structure and you combine a large autonomy with the necessary attention to detail;
  • You are dynamic and have excellent communication skills;
  • You possess team spirit, the capacity to build strong client relationships and take initiative to act without waiting for direction when appropriate.
