Trainee Accountant | Accounts and Audit
Our client is a well-established audit tax and advisory firm based in Dublin. The firm has a diverse client base consisting of both national and international clients. They are seeking a Trainee Accountant to join their firm on a training contract.
The firm has a nice mix of younger team members progressing through their exams, experienced Qualified Accountants and Tax consultants who have an "open door" policy and are keen to make sure you learn, develop and succeed!
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented person looking to develop their career in audit and accounts. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with a diverse and expanding portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors.
The role -
- Practice Accounting - attending meetings with accountants, clients as required
- Assisting in the preparation of client's accounts, tax returns and audit schedules
- Working closely with and reporting to senior experienced accountants
Where will I be after 3 years, what skills will have I gained? You will have/ be -
- A qualified accountant
- Have an excellent understanding of how SME - large companies operate
- Have good time management skills

About you -
- Have a genuine interest in accounts and audit
- Soon to be or recent graduate with from business, accounting, economics or maths
- Have 400 LC points and 2.2 Hons degree
- Part-qualified accountant or accounting technician
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks within strict deadlines.
