Make an impact with our National Tax Services Group as a Designated Professional. This diverse team of professionals provides best-in-class industry and technical expertise to internally drive the success of our Tax practice. As a trusted advisor, you’ll work internally to support the delivery of tax services, the development and coordination of key training programs and materials and the communication of tax matters.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain firm standards, processes and tools to support the delivery of tax services to our clients
- Troubleshoot queries relating to the preparation of tax returns through the firm’s tax software
- Manage and maintain tax templates in accordance with the latest tax updates
- Develop internal training materials and practice aids to support the implementation of firm standards
- Assist with firm-wide learning and development events as required
- Research and keep up to date with the latest changes in local tax legislation; draft internal and external tax publications
- Issue tax technical research and information/support to professionals throughout the firm
- Prepare and participate in internal tax compliance and planning projects
Skills and Experience
- CPA Designation (completion of CFE examination and working towards relevant practical experience requirements will also be considered)
- Enrollment in or completion of the In-Depth Tax Program
- 2 to 4 years of relevant tax practice experience in a public accounting firm
- Experience preparing domestic tax compliance and implementing tax reorganizations
- Solid understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles
- Experience with private companies and owner-manager taxation is an asset
