We are looking for a Credit Assessment Analyst with Hungarian language, who will be responsible for the efficient and effective operational management of credit risk for selected portfolio of customers according to policies and directions from credit committees.
The ideal candidate creates good working relationships with the local Credit Team and the other business partners. You will have an opportunity to use Hungarian language on a daily basis while talking to customers and stakeholders.
Your main accountabilities would be:
- Evaluating the creditworthiness of potential customers, monitoring existing portfolio.
- Performing risk assessments and making informed decisions while granting and extending credit limits.
- Effective management of credit risk, including handling securities and identifying when accounts may require legal intervention.
- Releasing orders, blocking and unblocking accounts.
- Interacting with external credit agencies, gathering information about customers from various sources.
- Adhering to credit policies and guidelines.
- Acting as a business partner for Account Managers and other stakeholders.
- Delivering assigned projects and initiatives.
- Performing required analysis, reports and controls.
- Participating in cross-functional workstreams to resolve business process issues.
- Cooperating effectively with other departments.
Candidate’s profile:
- Very good knowledge of Hungarian language (C1).
- Very good knowledge of English (B2/C1).
- Degree in Economics, Accounting or any related Finance/Business course.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in Credit Assessment area.
- Understanding of AR/O2C processes, accounting standards, and financial statement analysis.
- Credit risk awareness.
- Proactive approach and demonstrating full ownership of assigned tasks.
- Independent decision making.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Problem-solving approach.
- Accuracy with attention to details.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including working with pivot tables and formulas.
