Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller, as a Management Accountant you will be responsible for;

  • Preparing and analysing monthly and weekly management accounts and financial statements
  • Deliver a comprehensive set of balance sheet recs within strict deadlines
  • Own and lead the ongoing cash flow management for the Company
  • Responsible for cash control, including forecasting operational cash flow movements
  • Prepare robust budgets and forecasts in line with Company and Group requirements
  • Performing financial analysis and reporting to management
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements
  • Implementing internal controls and procedures
  • Liaising with external auditors
  • Managing and mentoring junior team members
  • Attending meetings and presenting to Senior Management
  • Participating in special projects as required

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Highly proficient Excel user (pivot & look up tables, modelling financial data etc)
  • Excellent strategic planning and financial analysis skills.
  • Strong understanding of business financial and reporting processes.
  • Extremely organised, able to meet deadlines and manage workload.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • Professional accreditation in Accounting & Finance.
