Description
Reporting to the Financial Controller, as a Management Accountant you will be responsible for;
- Preparing and analysing monthly and weekly management accounts and financial statements
- Deliver a comprehensive set of balance sheet recs within strict deadlines
- Own and lead the ongoing cash flow management for the Company
- Responsible for cash control, including forecasting operational cash flow movements
- Prepare robust budgets and forecasts in line with Company and Group requirements
- Performing financial analysis and reporting to management
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements
- Implementing internal controls and procedures
- Liaising with external auditors
- Managing and mentoring junior team members
- Attending meetings and presenting to Senior Management
- Participating in special projects as required
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Highly proficient Excel user (pivot & look up tables, modelling financial data etc)
- Excellent strategic planning and financial analysis skills.
- Strong understanding of business financial and reporting processes.
- Extremely organised, able to meet deadlines and manage workload.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.
- Professional accreditation in Accounting & Finance.
