Senior Payroll Consultant
Client focused - Full time – Brussels
Job Purpose:
The Senior Payroll Consultant will be part of a growing payroll department, providing payroll services to a diverse range of international clients. He/she will have a solid understanding of payroll and will be able to process payroll from start to finish.
Reports to
- HR & Payroll Director, HR & Payroll Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll of complex clients who require special attention;
- Establishes a good relationship with clients based on trust;
- Acts as a subject matter expert during client meetings and conference calls;
- Responsible for your team's client portfolio and manage it in cooperation with your supervisor;
- Train team members, answer questions from the team regarding complex payroll matters;
- Participate in our training plan and work on your own development by identifying growth opportunities (you are in the driver's seat of your career);
- Ensure compliance (according to our ISAE3402 certification);
- Assist with and drive projects to improve the HRP department's daily operations. Drive and implement best practices;
- Act as a team player and contribute to the growth of our team with your ideas.
Key requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Fluent in both written and spoken English as well as Dutch or French
- Proven experience in payroll delivery (at least 3-4 years)
- Proven team management skills
- Exposure to expat/international payrolls is desirable

- Good communication skills - Communicates information in a clear and concise manner.
- Be able to work remotely and keep good contact with your TMF colleagues
- Goal-focused (both individual and team goals)
- Eye for detail and quality-focused
- Problem-solving attitude
- Act with integrity
- Expertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- Experience working in and having knowledge of Belgian payroll is a plus
