Our Business Services team is a collective of creative, strategic, forward-thinking business enablers. Together the People & Culture, Marketing & Communications, IT, Operations, Finance and Quality & Risk Management teams make it their mission to ensure Mazars has the right tools, technology, strategies and services in place to deliver exceptional client service and future-proof our growing business.

About the role 

• Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll have various responsibilities which primarily will be acting as a financial business partner for cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Working with the business to create budgets and forecasts for the firms overheads.
• Various accounting entries such as accruals/prepayments prepared under IFRS.
• Identifying and highlighting risks within our cost base.
• Targeted reporting where necessary to influence and change business behaviours.
• Mentoring the Assistant Management Accountants to support their progression.
• Supporting various upcoming projects which are key to the wider success of the finance team.

What are we looking for?

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified or equivalent with experience within a similar role
• Strong experience of working in a Management Accounts team
• Sound business acumen, and experience of working with the key stakeholders outside of the Finance/Accounting teams
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
