Join the Service Design and Improvement Branch, where your expertise will help enhance internal service delivery processes and systems. Our branch is dedicated to improving the participant experience by identifying opportunities for process improvements and delivering strategic solutions. We collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts to simplify processes, improve timelines, and deliver better outcomes for participants, ensuring sustainability for the future.
About the Role
As an EL1 Business Analyst, you will be accountable for undertaking complex work that contributes to the team's success. You will be involved in resolving issues and managing risks across a broad range of activities, providing support in planning and coordination. Your role will also involve managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and representing interests in various forums.

- EL1 equivalent $602+ per day + super

- Up to 12 months assignment with potential to extend, pending business and performance requirements.

About the Role
As an EL1 Business Analyst, you will be accountable for undertaking complex work that contributes to the team's success. You will be involved in resolving issues and managing risks across a broad range of activities, providing support in planning and coordination. Your role will also involve managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and representing interests in various forums.
- Identify and document current business processes to establish baseline understanding.
- Facilitate process design improvements by conducting business and systems process analysis.
- Provide program/stream-level analysis and produce the required documentation.
- Support Product Owners in elaborating user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps.
- Assist Product Owners with the use of internal systems.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of proposed solutions and designs.
- Lead the transition of business requirements to development teams.
- Support verification testing of built solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements.
About you
To thrive in this role, you need:
- Ability to analyse data to identify trends and insights.
- Familiarity with Agile or Kanban methodologies.
- Knowledge of tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience in recommending and implementing process improvements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members from various disciplines.
- Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
