Description
- Manage and deliver audit engagements from planning to completion
- Lead a team of auditors in the execution of audit procedures
- Ensure compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Identify opportunities for business development and enhancement of client relationships
- Report and present to the senior management and stakeholders
- Participate in the training and development of staff
- Stay updated with industry and regulatory changes and their impact on the business
Profile
A successful Audit Senior Manager should have:
- A professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in delivering external audit and assurance engagements
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Experience in leading and developing a team
- Excellent client relationship skills
- Strong business development acumen
