Description

  • Manage and deliver audit engagements from planning to completion
  • Lead a team of auditors in the execution of audit procedures
  • Ensure compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Identify opportunities for business development and enhancement of client relationships
  • Report and present to the senior management and stakeholders
  • Participate in the training and development of staff
  • Stay updated with industry and regulatory changes and their impact on the business

Profile

A successful Audit Senior Manager should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in delivering external audit and assurance engagements
  • Strong understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Experience in leading and developing a team
  • Excellent client relationship skills
  • Strong business development acumen
