Lentells is an accountancy practice who employ over 80 staff members across 3 offices in Devon and Somerset. We are now looking to recruit for a portfolio manager to join our team in our Chard office on a permanent basis.
The main duties of this role include:
- Responsible for managing a portfolio of clients. Lentells managers deal with a mixed portfolio, specialising in Medical (approx. 80% GP Practice)
- Supporting the Directors with providing a range of accounting and tax services to our varied portfolio of client
- You will ensure that our clients expectations are met in a timely and efficient manner
- Being main contact to our clients on a day to day basis
- Being responsible for mentoring and training junior staff members
The ideal candidate will have:
Essential Experience
- Must have at least 3 years practice experience (recent preferable), and be proficient in accounts (not audit or tax only).
- Managed their own portfolio; independently producing accounts and dealing with clients directly (start to finish)
Desirable Experience
- ACCA/ACA Qualification is desirable but not essential. If not qualified must have the ‘proven’ experience above
- Knowledge/experience of ‘medical’ a distinct advantage
- Experience of training junior staff/managing a team an advantage
