Work you’ll do
Role : Associate / Senior
- Supporting clients (internal and external) seeking tax process improvement in relation to their existing processes
- Documenting key tax processes and tax requirements of clients
- Assist on large finance and tax transformations leveraging technology solutions to improve and automate the tax function
- Supporting on RFPs and client pursuits
- Collaborating with various stakeholders, including finance professionals and IT teams to gather information for financial system functionalities.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, errors, or missing information in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of invoice data, such as invoice numbers, amounts, payment terms, and relevant supporting documentation.
Role : Assistant Manager
- Supporting clients (internal and external) seeking tax process improvement in relation to their existing processes
- Documenting key tax processes and tax requirements of clients
- Assist on large finance and tax transformations leveraging technology solutions to improve and automate the tax function
- Ensure financial information systems comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal controls.
- Analyze existing financial information systems/processes and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to gather information for system enhancements or new system implementations.
- Document functional specifications and process flows.
- Review of financial systems to identify information and process flows.
- Ensure the efficient and effective operation of financial information systems within an organization.
- Responsible for analyzing and implementing financial systems to support the organization's financial operations.

Requirements
- Possess minimum a Bachelor Degree in related disciplines such as Accounting / Economics / Tax or Professional Qualification (CPA/ACCA/MIA/MICPA) with minimum 2 - 4 years of tax working experience preferably in a multinational or publicly listed corporation.
- US GAAP and / or IFRS tax accounting experience such as provision preparation or tax audit work
- Familiarity with a broad range of tax concepts, including in corporate tax, corporate tax provisions, and corporate income tax returns
- Experience of corporate income tax compliance processes including return preparation and payments
- Possess good organizational skills and able to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines
- A strong interest in technology and its use in business processes
- Although not essential, any experience in any projects relating to tax automation or ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle) configuration for tax is advantageous.
- Prior experience in financial systems analysis or implementation is preferred.
- Prior experience in internal audits of the financial information process.
- Prior experience in a finance or accounts payable department.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
